Unfortunately it is really difficult to keep them clean, the longer the task of thorough cleaning is left the more difficult it is to restore the original finish. Strong chemical cleaners become necessary but their continued use will damage the wheels. Protex4 is a polymer coating that permanently bonds on to the wheels and forms a highly effective barrier against corrosive brake dust,salts and road grime. The hydrophobic (water repellent) coating protects the surface of the wheels and adds a further layer of stick resistant nano molecules that keeps an easy clean finish no matter what the interval between washes.
